After careful discussions with our team, board, and partners, we’ve made the difficult decision to delay our planned August 2025 opening because of issues related to facilities and federal funding. While this is not the news we hoped to share, our commitment to building an extraordinary, learner-driven high school community right here in Houston remains stronger than ever.

Challenges like these are what we mean when we talk about Alchemy -- the real, sometimes messy work of transforming vision into reality. The excitement and belief we've seen from Houstonians continue to inspire our work and strengthen our commitment to Alchemy's vision ... a world where every human connects with, grows, and contributes their creative genius.
